Prepare to be amazed as we reveal the incredible transformation of a beloved indie band from the early 2000s!
Unrecognizable Rock Stars?
A noughties indie band has undergone a dramatic makeover, leaving fans scratching their heads. With their new bleach blonde hair, these rockers are almost unidentifiable!
The band recently released a promotional photo, showcasing their fresh look ahead of their upcoming gigs. And let me tell you, it's a serious departure from their previous image.
The Big Reveal: Who Are They?
If you haven't guessed already, it's none other than The Ordinary Boys, the British punk rock sensation! The band, consisting of Samuel Preston, Charles "Chuck" Stanley, James Gregory, and Matthew Powers, is back and ready to rock after a decade-long hiatus.
A Decade Later, They're Back!
The Ordinary Boys are celebrating their 20th anniversary with a series of intimate gigs across the UK. They'll be performing in Worthing, Bristol, Darwen, and Portsmouth, and you can even catch them in London at the Strongroom Bar for a mere £20!
But why the dramatic hair change? Well, it's all part of their reinvention strategy, a bold move to mark their return to the music scene.
A Hit-Making Machine
The Ordinary Boys are no strangers to success. They've had multiple UK Top 10 hits, including the iconic "Boys Will Be Boys" in 2006. Their collaboration with Lady Sovereign, "Nine2Five," was another massive hit. And let's not forget their other popular tracks like "I Luv U," "Lonely at the Top," and "Talk Talk Talk."
The Preston Factor
Samuel Preston, or simply "Preston," is arguably the most recognizable member of the group. His appearance on Celebrity Big Brother in 2006 shot him to fame, and he even married his fellow housemate, Chantelle Houghton. However, their romance was short-lived, and they split after just a year.
In an interview with The Sun last year, Chantelle reflected on their time in the Big Brother house, saying, "I think everyone loves a good romance story, don't they? Having a connection in the house definitely makes it easier, as you're not alone and can navigate the mind games together."
And There's More!
The Ordinary Boys will also be gracing the stage at Chester's Together Again Festival at Bolesworth Castle this summer. With their new look and a decade of stories to tell, they're sure to put on an unforgettable show.
So, what do you think of their transformation? Do you prefer their new look, or were they more recognizable before? Let us know in the comments! We'd love to hear your thoughts on this iconic band's comeback!
