Project Windless: A Chicken-Based Open-World Carnage on PlayStation
A trailer for Project Windless, an upcoming open-world action RPG by Krafton Montreal, has been unveiled, featuring a giant chicken wielding a blade and causing carnage.
At first glance, the trailer for Project Windless might seem a little unhinged. There's carnage everywhere, wrought simply with the blade wielded by a giant chicken. But this is no ordinary game. Set thousands of years after the events of the novel series "The Bird That Drinks Tears," the game presents a unique and innovative combat experience.
The main character is one of the Rekons, a race of gigantic humanoid birds. This nomadic, solitary race is powerful, with the team stating that their "speed, reach, and physical presence" made them "perfect" for the "one-versus-many combat" presented in the trailer. As a Rekon warrior, you often fight dozens (sometimes hundreds) of enemies at once. These crowds aren't just visual noise; they move, flank, surround, and react to your actions, turning every battle into a living, unpredictable spectacle.

Honestly, the whole time the trailer played, oozing stylish brutality through every pixel, all I could think of was the video "Chicken Attack," with the yodeling chicken master. It felt relevant.
