Naidu's vision for the Amaravati Quantum Valley, launched in May 2025, has already started to bear fruit just nine months later. The state is set to become home to IBM's 133-Qubit Quantum System Two, the most advanced quantum system in India, which will be installed in September. Andhra Pradesh has also become the first state to implement a comprehensive quantum policy, attracting over 60 national and international companies to join the initiative. The state's commitment to quantum technology is further solidified by the upcoming launch of India's first Quantum Reference Facility, supported by strategic agreements with global institutions.
The quantum revolution is already underway in Andhra Pradesh, with over one lakh youth undergoing quantum training and 20,000 students from 137 colleges participating in quantum hackathons.
